ideal spot for exploring parks and university spots
I loved how close we were to Buddy Attick Park, just a pleasant stroll away for some relaxing nature views, as well as the amazing College Park Aviation Museum, which provided a fun way to spend an afternoon learning about aviation history. it's perfect for anyone who enjoys weekend city strolls like I do.

Good spot for a day trip in College Park and offers decent value. The front desk guy really helped by arranging room cleaning twice. For better deals, ask about discounts at check-in.

Excellent place with free wi-fi, parking, and friendly staff. On my first stay, they helped me find great places to eat. Highly recommend it for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back for another trip!

Not a family-friendly place
The room had a fridge that I used to stash some snacks. The bathroom was clean, so at least there’s that.
Wasn't exactly cheap, but it was tolerable.

The hotel is conveniently located just 11 miles from the Smithsonian's National Zoo, making it easy to explore with our teenage kids. We also enjoyed the cable programming available for our entertainment during downtime after our daily adventures.
My kids wished there were more options for breakfast than just a few croissants and bread. It would be great to have a family-friendly breakfast that caters better to everyone's tastes.

Budget-Friendly but Needs Improvements
This place offered affordable rates, perfect for a quick stay. Enjoyed the nearby restaurant for dinner—great atmosphere and delicious food! However, my room had some cleanliness issues. For a better experience, request a non-smoking room and check the amenities beforehand.

Convenient Location but Lacking Comfort
The hotel is conveniently located near the University, which made my stay quite easy. However, the room itself left much to be desired—there was no coffee maker, and the bathroom facilities were not up to par. It would greatly improve the experience if the rooms were updated and staff offered a more welcoming attitude. Overall, I expected more for the price paid.

a disappointing experience but room was clean with microwave
Clean room, decent convenience.

missingWrote a review on Mar 26clean roommicrowave fridgerude staffpoor maintenance
The only positive aspect was the low price of the hotel. The room had a microwave and fridge, which came in handy during my stay. It was clean enough, and I appreciated the coffee and donuts available, even if it felt a little sparse. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and the U of Maryland campus. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The hotel is old and in desperate need of renovations. The toilet water pressure was awful, and it actually wouldn't flush after using it. No elevators made it difficult to carry my luggage up the stairs. The room lacked an ironing board, forcing me to improvise using the table to iron my clothes. Front desk staff were curt, making interactions feel unwelcoming, and the TV remote had no batteries. The whole experience felt rushed and uncomfortable, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel for more than just a quick sleep. I will not be returning to this place.
